Good morning Scholars! Welcome to your last week of 6th grade! I am so proud of you all for your accomplishments this year. You all have tried new things (switching classes, using lockers, studying for 6 different subjects, etc.) with a reflective and tenacious spirit. When you faced a challenge, you kept working at it until you got it right. You were adaptive to new school setting and then again to digital learning. We can not always control what happens around us, but we can always control how we react to it. You react with grace and a growth mindset. You are nothing short of inspiring. I will miss you! This week we are learning about soil formation and conservation. By the end of the week, each scholar should be able the following questions: 1. How does soil form? 2. What are the characteristics of the soil layers (horizons)? 3. What are practices we can use to conserve soil on Earth’s surface? We will have a live class on Zoom on Wednesday 5/13 at 11:45am.
